A weekly roundup of wanted suspects

Boston Police on Monday, March 16, 2026, refreshed the department’s public “Most Wanted” list, identifying six people sought on charges that range from firearms and drug allegations to rape and property crimes. The list is published as a weekly update and is intended to generate investigative leads from the public while reminding residents that outstanding-warrant status can change quickly.

The current list includes: Santo Arias-Valdez, sought on firearm charges; Andrew Craddock, sought on firearm and drug charges; Thomas Cowans, sought on rape and assault-and-battery charges; Kevin Bridgeman, sought on shoplifting and larceny charges; Isamar Santana, sought on larceny and drug charges; and William Scopa, sought on breaking-and-entering at nighttime charges.

How the tip process works

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspects’ whereabouts to provide tips through the city’s CrimeStoppers system. The department states tips can be submitted by phone at 1-800-494-TIPS, by text by sending “TIP” to CRIME (27463), and through the department’s online CrimeStoppers portal. Police also state that photos and videos related to investigations can be submitted through CrimeStoppers.

Police emphasize they seek information rather than the identity of the person providing it, and that anonymous tips are accepted through CrimeStoppers.

What the “Most Wanted” label does—and does not—mean

The list functions as a public-facing bulletin highlighting a small number of cases where investigators are seeking to locate specific people. It does not, by itself, provide the underlying case details, the status of court proceedings, or the evidentiary record supporting the charges. Police also note that the roster is generated and validated on the date it is posted, and that some people may be apprehended after publication.

Because the list can change week to week, the department advises that any verification of an individual’s outstanding warrants should occur before any police action. For the public, that caution underscores a basic point: residents should not attempt to detain or confront suspects. Instead, investigators are asking the public to relay information through the designated reporting channels.

Names and charges listed in the March 16, 2026 update

  • Santo Arias-Valdez — firearm charges
  • Andrew Craddock — firearm and drug charges
  • Thomas Cowans — rape, assault and battery
  • Kevin Bridgeman — shoplifting and larceny
  • Isamar Santana — larceny and drug charges
  • William Scopa — breaking and entering nighttime

Police said anyone who recognizes a suspect or has information relevant to locating them should contact CrimeStoppers using the phone number or text option provided by the department.
