Revere Police Seek Suspect After Three Reported Indecent Assaults Near Beachmont MBTA Station Late Nights

Revere police issued a public warning after three reported indecent assaults in the Beachmont area near the MBTA’s Beachmont Station, describing a series of late-night incidents involving women who were approached from behind and touched inappropriately.
Investigators said the three reports span nearly two months and occurred within a narrow time window at night. The first reported incident occurred on January 13 at about 11 p.m. near the intersection of Winthrop Parkway and Roughan Street. The second was reported on February 19 at about 10 p.m. in the area of Beachmont Station on State Road. The third was reported on March 7 at about 10 p.m., also in the vicinity of Beachmont Station.
Police said that in each case, the victim was in the area of Beachmont Station or leaving the station between 10 and 11 p.m. when an unknown man approached from behind, made inappropriate contact, and then fled the area. In at least one report, the suspect spoke to a victim, making a comment about why she was outside late at night.
Description of the suspect and investigative steps
Revere police described the suspect as a man between approximately 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a thin build and short dark hair. In one incident, police said he was reported to be wearing a black jacket and light-colored jeans. Police also released surveillance imagery as part of the effort to identify him.
Detectives said they believe the incidents may be connected and have been canvassing the surrounding streets. Investigators are asking residents and businesses in the Beachmont neighborhood to review home surveillance systems and doorbell cameras for relevant footage, particularly during the late-night hours when the assaults were reported.
Police are urging pedestrians in the area to remain alert and aware of their surroundings, particularly near the station late at night.
